If you buy clothes off of the sims 3 website (with simpoints) will they be glitched?

Last time when I downloaded sims off the sims3,com it came with clothes that I liked so I chose them, and then when i moved them into a house, their arms got really long and it scared the crap out of me! So I was wondering if I bought the same clothes off of the website, would it do the same thing?
