What is the best way to deal with ? Can I p this virus to my kids?

i'm a young educated mother of 2 and i was resently given HSV. i have never had any kind of std in my life and now i have something with no cure. i'm very confused and feel like i can no longer be a good mother now that i have this virus. will someone please help me get thru this.
