Which Guitar To Buy....?

I checked out all the models on google. I think your friend's suggestion of Pluto Jumbo is the correct one because it has the cut away near the bottom frets. That will help you reach the higher notes. That is not possible in your mentioned Takamine/Ibanez models. About Gibson MAESTRO, it is a semi-acoustic guitar, so obviously the price will be high for a beginner & it will give low acoustic b sound (judging the model). Another plus for Pluto is I think it will suit your budget. If you want to go for cheaper models, then go for clones of Pluto Jumbo. Hope this helps...
