Can going to the gym make you loose weight?
Simply going to a gym will not make you lose weight. It is the activity you do there that causes the weight loss. If you just goof off and only do a little effort, you probably won't lose any weight. Whereas if you go and do your best effort, you likely will lose weight. However, it is pretty common to overestimate the amount of calories your burning while exercising so it is important to track your activity and time. Then use an exercise chart to more accurately determine your calories burned. Plus, proper nutrition including portion control is a big factor in weight loss.
