For all you photographers, is this a good camera?

Bonjour. (: so I'm in a photography 1 cl, while I'm not taking pictures yet, I got a camera from my grandmother, and it's an older Nikon I think. I was wondering, is it a good camera? I'll be getting pictures up in a second. P.S. I'm sorry if they are bad quality, they were taken on my camera phone. Any input would be great!
