Learning to play guitar? Chords?

It's a Barre Chord and requires you to use your index finger to lay down where the bar is place, most tabs don't show it that way, but just show you that finger (the first finger as related to in guitar tab a.k.a. index finger) on a whole set of strings at one fret. Finger dexterity is key and practice will only make perfect with these chords. It may seem hard when it comes to stretching the other remaining fingers away from the index or just simply holding down the index may seem a difficulty. Again, practice makes perfect.
